Deadline
Being a creative isn’t always easy, especially when you’re an overworked student. No one wants to fail and when it comes down to it there seems to be no original ideas left.
Follow this aspiring young artist as they push through their creative block by taking a step back and trying to find the unapologetically frivolous imagination they had as a child.

Deadline was a project inspired by my lack of inspiration during my senior year of college. I was so excited to work on my senior animation projects and try to make the best work I could. But as graduation grew nearer and nearer my lack of confidence in myself destroyed my creativity. Even as an artist being creative all the time isn’t guaranteed, so I just decided to try and convey that complicated feeling.
Consequently, making Deadline helped my find inspiration for Kaiju Kid but thinking about what excited me as a kid.
